Do I need to apply sunscreen lotion under my Sea Ya Beach garments?
The Answer in short is no. The fabric filters UV rays due to the way the threads are weaved, thus having the ability to block UV-B rays, but allowing UV-A rays to pass through working as a sunscreen. You must though protect the rest of your exposed skin by applying a sun block.
How long does the UV-B protection of Sea Ya Beach clothing last? Do they ever lose their tan through ability?
Sea Ya Beach fabrics are not impregnated with chemicals. UV-B protection exists due to the microscopic openings in the fabrics fibers. Therefor, the clothes retain their effectiveness forever.
Is the fabric see through?
No. Thanks to it’s complex print designs, your swimwear is not see through wet or dry.
Will I tan under my swim suit straps?
Unfortunately no. The straps consist of folded fabric and elastic which makes tanning extremely hard. We recommend you move the straps from time to time to get a more even tan.
What type of care do Sea Ya Beach clothes need?
No special care is required. You can wash your Sea Ya Beach garments by hand or washing machine up to 30°C. It’s advisable to let your swimwear dry naturally.
